As someone who's spent only a month in NZ I gave Curry Pot a shot as I was missing Indian food. I tried the masala dosa and felt it was not only filling but also tasty. The tomato chutney was delicious and I couldn't help taking a second helping. A bit pricy overall but if you consider how rare it is to find masala dosa in NZ then it's definitely worth it. Will visit again.
I love this place. Right across the street from work and a great lunch special. I've tried a handful of the different curries and I would say that the Chicken Tikka Masala is so yummy. The dinner time Naan breads are pretty massive too. They usually come out cut into thirds to make it more manageable. The staff are friendly and always happy to see me. I'm always happy to see them cause it means I'm gonna eat good in a minute 😁
The Curry Pot team were amazing on Saturday night - helping to feed around 60 guests at my home. They came and looked at the venue prior, provided table cloths, bain maries, serving spoons and labels for the curries. And - unexpectedly, two staff stayed on to serve up before packing everything down again once the feeding frenzy was over. The curries themselves were top notch! They always are. My friends and family were really impressed with everything and I was delighted with the whole experience - they made my night!
